Real time Motion Capture using a Rokoko Smartsuit at the London South Bank University

At the London South Bank studio we used a Rococo Smartsuit Pro II to capture realtime motion. The suit, which uses a number of built in wireless sensors allowed us to capture the motion of the wearer to give life like realistic animation to a 3D character. Rokoko provides software to allow you to chose the character and you can record and download the output into other applications such as Blender and Unity.

To test we used models to act out a prompt to see if we could guess the prompt from the animated 3D character...The Characters were incredibly life like.
